Russian troops seize part of industrial zone in Avdiivka – ISW
Russian troops confirmed their movement with some advance northwest and southeast of Avdiivka.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) provided details in a report on November 27.
The report says that geolocation footage released on November 26 shows that occupation forces have advanced in the eastern part of the industrial zone on the southeastern outskirts of the city and northwest of Krasnohorivka (7 km northwest of Avdiivka).
Russian armored vehicles attacked Ukrainian positions in the northern part of the industrial zone on the southeastern outskirts of Avdiivka. Russian military bloggers mostly reported that the occupation forces captured the entire industrial zone on November 26. The location was said to be near the Yasynuvata-2 railway station, but ISW has not yet found visual evidence of these claims.
On November 26, Russian troops organized an offensive on the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line and confirmed the offensive. Geolocation footage released on November 26 shows that Russian troops have made minor advances southwest of Pershotravneve (24 km east of Kupyansk).

The enemy continues to try to encircle Avdiivka, according to the November 27 report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The occupiers regularly use aviation. Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the line, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. Russian offensive actions east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Novokalynove, Stepove, Severne, Pervomayske and Avdiivka itself were in vain, where the defense forces repelled 30 attacks.
