Russians say that they turn stolen washing machines into Tornado-C and Tornado-G in three shifts
It seems that they have found a reliable source of resources to report on the ‘implementation of a government-ordered contract’
The Russian Army received a batch of Tornado-S and Tornado-G multiple rocket systems, which were manufactured at the facilities of the Motovylykhinsky Zavody enterprise. This is stated by the press service of the Russian corporation Rostec.
Representatives of the corporation claim that they produced this batch of MLRS within the time limit set by the state defense order. And also – that ‘Rostec’ seems to have already started stamping ‘Tornado-S’ and ‘Tornado-G’ in three shifts, for which they are hiring additional personnel, increasing wages and purchasing additional equipment.
‘Tornado-G’ is a Russian modernization of BM-21 ‘Grad’. The Russian army has up to 180 vehicles of this type, according to The Military Balance 2022. According to the Russians themselves, the Tornado-G differs from its predecessor in a more advanced fire control system and an increased firing range of up to 40 km. According to the conservative estimates of the Oryx portal, during the war against Ukraine, the Orks already lost 5 destroyed ‘Tornado-G’, another 9 machines of this type became trophies of the Armed Forces.
‘Tornado-S’ is a Russian modernization of the ‘Smerch’ system, the Russian military has up to 20 such machines. According to the Russians, the Tornado-S has an increased firing range of up to 120 km and can apparently use 9M544 guided projectiles (which are equipped with ordinary commercial microcircuits).
It seems that the Russian defense industry, represented by Rostec, has started a ‘mega-project’ to ‘stamp’ three changes of the Tornado-S and Tornado-G systems. For which they have the appropriate amount of resources – 2,000 BM-21 ‘Grad’ systems in storage. And a well-established channel of illegal supplies of ‘household’ electronics.
Western media have already revealed the nuance that the Russian Federation has already literally covered itself with women and children in order to circumvent sanctions in the field of defense industry. And that in the hands of the Rashists, any washing machine or other household device immediately turns into a source of microcircuits for the production of weapons.
