Samsung unveils first fully bezel-less OLED display for smartphones
Samsung Display has shown its latest development – a zero-bezel OLED touchscreen for smartphones.
What is known
The technology is called All Around Full Screen. There are no official details from Samsung yet, but there is a marketing image published by insiders. It shows an OLED screen completely without bezels. And yes, this is a “waterfall” that not all users like. Only if modern “waterfalls” are rounded only on the sides, in this case they are rounded on all four sides.
The manufacturer notes that the side curves of the display can be used to adjust the brightness and volume. In addition, the company wants to improve the in-screen front camera technology so that the screen has no bezels or notches.
For now, it’s just a concept, not a finished gadget without a framework. But we have no doubt that it can become a new trend in the smartphone market.
