Serbia demonstrated a Raven 145 kamikaze drone with a 35 kg warhead that can destroy tanks at a distance of up to 150 km
The Partner 2023 arms exhibition is taking place in Serbia. The local company Yugoimport presented a kamikaze drone called Raven 145.
An unmanned aerial vehicle can be used not only to destroy enemy targets. The Raven 145 is equipped with a camera that enables it to conduct reconnaissance and surveillance. In kamikaze mode, it can engage stationary and moving targets, including tanks, armored vehicles, and command posts.
The Raven 145 can reach a speed of 150 km/h and climb to an altitude of 2000 meters. The warhead weighs 35 kg, and the total takeoff weight of the airborne platform is 50 kg. The kamikaze drone is capable of destroying a target within a radius of 150 km.
The Raven 145 is launched using a solid rocket engine. After acceleration and climb, the two-cylinder engine, which runs on gasoline, starts working.
