Serial production of the Chaklun UAV has been established in Ukraine
The aircraft ‘Chaklun’ was developed by aircraft modelers from Dnipro. Currently, it is mass-produced in Ukraine. Every month, Dnipro experts collect 200 drones. This became known from Dmytro Panchenko, who holds the position of head of the Federation of Aeromodelling Sports.
The Chaklun aircraft-type drone has small dimensions. Because of this, it is difficult to notice in the sky. Hitting a drone with small arms is extremely difficult. The occupiers are forced to spend expensive missiles. The aircraft camera is best for filming at an altitude of 350-400 m.
According to Panchenko, ‘Chaklun’ occupied a niche between large reconnaissance aircraft and quadcopters. Until recently, she was unemployed. The basic version of the UAV cannot transmit images from the camera to the operator. She only keeps a record. Due to this, the drone has minimal radio emissions. Enemy radars do not see him.
Dnipro aircraft modelers do not plan to turn the ‘Wizard’ into an attack drone. In this case, it will have to be registered as a weapon. Currently, ‘Koldun’ is classified as a civilian UAV. After the end of the war, it can be exploited in agriculture.
