Military analysts from the Oryx project analyzed satellite images and photos on the Internet and found out how much equipment Russia lost as a result of strikes on airfields in Berdiansk and Luhansk.

Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to destroy seven Ka-52 helicopters and two Mi-8s. In addition, Oryx said that fifteen more helicopters were damaged. Of these, eight are Ka-52s and seven are Mi-8s.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck airfields in Berdiansk and Luhansk on the night of October 17 using ATACMS missiles. According to Russian propagandists, this was one of the most serious strikes in the entire full-scale war.
