‘Shahed hunters’ stood in for combat duty (video)
Ihor Lachenkov, Oleg Horokhovskyi and the UNITED24 platform organized a fundraiser for the purchase of ‘Shahed Hunters’. From the message published by Mykhailo Fedorov in his Telegram channel, it follows that interceptor drones are already in Ukraine. They provide protection of energy facilities.
The message emphasizes that the collected funds were used to purchase six modern systems designed to counter enemy UAVs. According to the head of the Ministry of Digital, it is about modern defense technologies used by the USA to ensure the security of strategic objects.
The minister noted that jamming devices and radars detect enemy drones on the approaches to targets. Fortem DroneHunter F700 autonomous devices, based on AI technologies, fly towards them. Interceptor drones have radar control. They can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h.
Fundraising for the purchase of ‘Chashers of Shahed’ was organized in October. In less than two days, Ukrainians managed to collect UAH 150 million. The radius of action of the complex for intercepting drones is 5 square meters. km It was originally developed to protect critical infrastructure facilities. The anti-drone systems purchased by the organizers of the gathering are in service with NATO countries.
