Soldiers of the “Steel Frontier” raised Ukrainian flags in two villages (video)
No one was allowed to enter the area because of the dense mining, but now Ukrainian border guards have paved a safe path.
In Kharkiv region, Ukrainian flags have been raised in two previously liberated settlements of Kupyansk district. They were lifted by the soldiers of the Steel Frontier brigade of the National Guard. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service on August 7.
“Soldiers of the ‘Steel Frontier’ raised the Ukrainian flag in the settlements of Stroyivka and Topoli (ed. – Dvorichanska settlement community of Kupyansky district, Kharkiv region),” the statement reads.
It is noted that these settlements are located on the border with Russia (1 km) in the so-called “gray zone”. After the de-occupation of Kharkiv region by the Defense Forces, no one entered the area due to dense mines, but now Ukrainian border guards have paved a safe path and raised the State Flag of Ukraine.
As a reminder, soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine installed the flag of Ukraine in the village of Robotyno in Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian defenders raised the national flag with the signature of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the destroyed school building.
Earlier it was reported that the flag of Ukraine was raised near the FSB building in Nizhny Novgorod. Witnesses to the incident said that a large bag was attached to the wires the day before. Early in the morning of August 18, the bag was torn open, revealing the flag of Ukraine in front of everyone.
