Supposed to attack Odesa region: Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shoot down occupants’ Su-24M near Zmeiny
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of a Russian Su-24M frontline bomber near Zmiine.
This is stated in the message of the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.
It is reported that the Su-24M, acting under the cover of a Su-30SM fighter jet, tried to launch a missile and bomb attack on the south of Odesa region.
“Thanks to the successful operation of the South Air Command, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile unit sent the Russian ‘drying’ after the ‘Russian warship’,” the post reads.
The information about the bomber’s destruction was indirectly confirmed by Russian propagandist Fighterbomber (Ilya Tumanov), who posted a photo of the plane on his Telegram channel.
