Target destroyed: Ukrainian Armed Forces demonstrate combat performance of “Strela-10” against enemy ZALA drone

Ukrainian soldiers from the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko destroyed an enemy ZALA UAV using Strela-10 SAMs.

A video of the moment of the shot and the target’s destruction was posted on social media.

“Anti-aircraft gunners of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade destroyed a Zala UAV using Strela-10 SAMs,” the video’s commentary reads.

The Strela-10 is designed for visual surveillance and destruction of air targets at low altitudes. We are talking about airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, the Arrow-10 is armed with 4 x 3KR 9M37, a 7.62 mm machine gun, and a crew of three. The range of the SAM is up to five kilometers.

“The Arrow-10 is designed for use by ground forces. The system detects airborne targets using an optoelectronic system and destroys them with missiles. The Strelka-10 is based on an MT-LB combat vehicle with a tracked chassis. On top is the launcher, which houses four 9M37 anti-aircraft guided missiles, the same number is stored in the combat compartment.

ZALA 421-16E is a Russian-made reconnaissance drone used by the occupiers for reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment.
