Technological leap: Georgia launches production of powerful kamikaze drones and reconnaissance drones

The Georgian Defense Forces demonstrated technological achievements in the defense industry by presenting barrage munitions produced by the Georgian-Polish joint venture Delta-WB.

The servicemen presented Georgian-made unmanned aerial vehicles and American-made ground surveillance radars, demonstrating their tactical capabilities. The participants of the presentation watched a live demonstration of two drones manufactured by Delta-WB: the FLYEYE reconnaissance drone and the Warmate barrage munition, known as a kamikaze drone.

Delta-WB, created as a result of cooperation between Georgia’s Delta International Ltd and Poland’s Webe Electronics, has set up the production and assembly of unmanned aerial vehicles to support local drone production. As part of the cooperation, a training center for drone operators has also been established.

The Warmate kamikaze drone, designed to deliver a high-explosive charge at a distance of up to 30 kilometers, has a flight time of 70 minutes and is an alternative to anti-tank guided missiles. Its adaptability allows the drone to be deployed using portable means or integrated into ground vehicles or helicopters, which increases its tactical flexibility.
