The advertised Russian S-400 systems proved powerless against HIMARS
The widely publicized Russian S-400 system cannot intercept HIMARS missiles. This became clear after the task of a missile attack on a warehouse in Luhansk. Protection of the sky of the so-called ‘capital’ LPR’ provides just such complexes.
Andriy Podolyak, adviser to the Ukrainian president, did not miss the opportunity to troll the occupiers. According to the official, the S-400 complex ‘catches’ American missiles, just as Russian football players catch a ball. Moscow claimed to have ‘the second army of the world’ at its disposal. Meanwhile, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has shown that the Russian Armed Forces are actually a collection of rapists, terrorists, and looters.
Podolyak added that the authorities of the Russian Federation wanted to show the entire planet the power of its military-industrial complex, but the ‘analogivnet’ turned out to be an ordinary sham. The S-400 complex is deliberately unable to shoot down American missiles.
According to the technical characteristics officially released by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the S-400 is capable of detecting targets at a distance of up to 600 kilometers. The complex can hit targets at a distance of 400 kilometers. As practice has shown, the characteristics declared by the Russians are on paper. Missiles launched with the help of HIMARS are not seen by Russian anti-aircraft systems.
