The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Orlan-10 UAV using the Stormer HVM air defense system
In July, we wrote that Ukraine acquired British Stormer HVM air defense systems, and now information has appeared that they are being used at the front.
The page of the Joint Forces Task Force published a post on Facebook, according to which the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down the Russian Orlan-10 drone with the help of the Stormer HVM anti-aircraft missile system. One of the photos shows how the target was destroyed.
As a reminder, the Stormer HVM is a military-armored vehicle manufactured by the British company Alvis Vickers with a tracked chassis and an HVM module that can use Starstreak and Martlet LMM missiles for air defense. Both types of missiles have been in service with Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war as ATGMs.
