The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how the ‘secret’ Phoenix Ghost drone works (video)
Fighters of the 28th OMBr and special operations forces used the Phoenix Ghost during the battle. With the help of American barrage ammunition, they destroyed the enemy’s manpower. A video of the combat use of the killer drone was posted on Facebook.
The occupiers were discovered with the help of a UAV by special forces and fighters of Kurt’s mobile group. They lurked in the drainage channel. They decided to attack the personnel with the help of Phoenix Ghost. The attempt was effective. Two Russian soldiers died on the spot. Three more were wounded by an American killer drone. The surviving Russians were finished off with 82-mm mines.
From the mark on the video, it follows that the attack on the occupiers was carried out with the help of a ‘secret’ drone, about which nothing is reported. It is known that it was developed by Aevex Aerospace engineers specifically for the Armed Forces. There are no technical characteristics of the UAV on the manufacturer’s website.
According to David Deptul, who holds the position of a board member at Aevex Aerospace, the Phoenix Ghost can stay in the sky for up to six hours, that is, much longer than the Switchblade. The drone supports vertical takeoff technology.
