The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully integrated AGM-88 HARM missiles into the MiG-29 fighter

On August 19, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which included AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles. The Armed Forces were able to successfully integrate these missiles into MiG-29 fighters.

The AGM-88 HARM is designed for the A-6 Intruder, F-4 Phantom II, F-16 Fighting Falcon and F/A-18 Hornet aircraft. As you understood, the Air Force of Ukraine does not have any of them. However, the Pentagon said that Ukraine managed to successfully integrate missiles into MiG fighters thanks to the help of American specialists.

The Air Force has only one MIG – the MIG-29. Exactly how the AGM-88 HARM was integrated is currently unclear. One of the options is to receive spare parts from partner countries.
