The biggest surprises of Chornobayivka: a rare radar for the S-400 and means of concealment of raschits (video)
Racists forgot the precious and rare radar 8Я6-К1 ‘Podlet’ in Chornobayivka
Detailed videos from a drone of the former base of the Russian army near Kherson – Chornobayivka showed quite interesting things.
Especially if you take into account the fact that the attacks on her turned into a rather long series that lasted from March to October, until they ended due to a ‘lack of props’.
In particular, the enemy really turned the territory of the airfield into a solid warehouse of equipment, creating a developed network of defensive structures. And despite regular ‘cotton raids’, explosions of warehouses with ammunition and methodical destruction of hives, this object functioned for quite a long time.
In addition, it housed rather expensive units of military equipment, which were driven into Chornobayivka despite the fact that it was well shot.
In particular, the video captures the destroyed R-330Zh ‘Zhitel’ EW station, as well as the ‘Zoopark’ counter-battery radar.
But that’s not all, because the 8Я6-К1 ‘Podlet’ radar was in the photo, which is designed to issue target designation to anti-aircraft missile complexes of the S-300 and S-400 types.
And this is already the second such radar, the destruction of which has been documented, at the same time, in the same direction. The first case of the destruction of this newest radar was recorded in July in the area of Novaya Kakhovka. But this time, even though it is damaged, it is possible to examine all its components in detail.
Modern and valuable 48Ya6-K1 “Podlet K1” low-altitude S-band surveillance radar was left behind by #Russian forces at Chornobaivka airport, Kherson.

At the same time, the role of the corner reflectors that were seen in the video is not entirely clear. If their appearance near the bridges can still be explained by the desire of the Rashists to protect the structures from anti-ship missiles, then their placement on the airfield raises more questions.
Also, the cylinders filled with the truck, from which they managed to collect everything, including the wheels and the engine, remain unidentified.
But in addition to the destroyed equipment, there were visually intact Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters on the airfield, which were captured by the Russians in the first days of the war, and now have returned ‘home’.
