As part of the Far Out event, Apple announced the availability dates for its latest mobile operating system, iOS 16.
iOS 16 was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2022 in June, and a public beta version of the OS appeared in July. Therefore, most innovations were already known in advance. Users will get an improved lock screen with extensive customization options, lock screen widgets, a new way to display messages, an improved Focus mode with customization options, shared iCloud photo libraries, an improved Messages application with the ability to restore deleted messages, a Live Text function for extracting text from videos.
