The first footage of the flight of the Ukrainian “Shahed” has appeared
A test flight of the Ukrainian analog of the Shahed-136, a AQ 400 Scythe kamikaze drone, which can fly up to 750 kilometers.
The video was published by journalist and military correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko.
The drone is reported to have a “swarm” function, which means that the main UAV can be accompanied to the target area by 9 other drones.
The cost of one such drone is from 15 thousand dollars. It is noted that the body of the Scythe kamikaze drone is made of plywood and it can carry 32 kilograms of explosives.
The drone is manufactured by the Ukrainian company Terminal Autonomy. Recently, they announced the successful completion of the procurement for the combat deployment of drones. The company can produce 100 of these UAVs per month, but plans to increase production capacity to 500 drones per month.

According to its specifications, the Ukrainian kamikaze drone can fly up to 750 kilometers. Its takeoff weight is 100 kilograms.
The drone can carry a warhead weighing up to 32 kilograms. It can be increased up to 70 kilograms, but then the UAV’s flight range will decrease. The advantages of this drone are its assembly time and the possibility of mass production.
