The Gok Alp quadcopter has become a carrier of high-precision weapons
Experts from Turkish companies InterData and Roketsan have integrated a miniature anti-tank missile Mete into a Gok Alp quadcopter, demonstrating the next step in the development of attack UAVs. In essence, they turned a small drone into a precision weapons carrier.
The Gok Alp weighs 27.5 kg. It can stay in the air for up to 20 minutes. The carrying capacity of the quadcopter is 2 kg.

The Mete missile concept was presented in 2019. The high-precision weapon debuted under the name Yatagan. The 40-mm missile is 50 cm long. It weighs about 1.4 kg. Mete is capable of hitting targets at a distance of over 1 km using semi-active laser guidance.
By the way, the drone itself can aim the missile at the target using a laser targeting device. The fact is that Mete was originally developed by Roketsan engineers to equip infantry units. In this regard, the missile received a small laser targeting device. To launch the Mete, compact launchers are used that can be mounted even on an assault rifle.
Launching Mete from a quadcopter is of some interest because it allows for high-precision strikes in NLOS mode, i.e. beyond line of sight. One operator is enough to launch an anti-tank missile from the air.
