The latest “Magnacello” drone successfully completed its first combat mission
The Ukrainian Armed Forces used a Maniacello UAV bomber in real combat for the first time. A message about this was posted on Facebook by volunteer Yuriy Holyk, who is one of the developers of the drone.
According to him, the debut UAV-bomber was recently handed over to the Marines. On June 23, they used it on the front line to repel an assault. The enemy attempted to gain a foothold in the landing occupied during the assault. The “Magnacello” cameraman threw grenades at them. The enemy infantry had to retreat with losses.
During the bombing, the drone was damaged, but this did not prevent it from returning to its takeoff point. The Chinese frame turned out to be rather weak. It could not withstand the load. After the frame is replaced with a stronger one, the bomber drone will return to the Marines.
Golyk admitted that the volunteers did not name their first drone. The Marines dubbed the aircraft “Maniacella” because it acts quickly and brutally.
