The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine explained where the information about the targets for HIMARS comes from

The bank of targets for HIMARS missile strikes is being formed by Ukrainian intelligence with the assistance of the United States and Great Britain. Vadym Skibytskyi, who holds the position of deputy head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, told journalists about this.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the major general said that the Ukrainian army receives not only modern equipment from the USA and Great Britain, but also intelligence data. Skibytsky did not go into the details of the information exchange. He only explained that data from the British intelligence of the Armed Forces is received online.

The correspondent asked how high accuracy of missile strikes on warehouses and command posts of the enemy is achieved. Skibytskyi replied that information received from Western intelligence is used by HIMARS operators in real time.

The major general emphasized that Ukraine does not receive the coordinates of the targets from the US, as in this case Russia would have every right to consider Washington a direct participant in the conflict.
