4 Japanese, 2 Korean, 2 Chinese and 2 German SUVs made the TOP-10.
Experts of the Focus2move project named the most popular SUVs according to the results of sales in the first half of 2022.
The best-selling SUV in the first half of 2022 remains the Toyota RAV4, leading with 371,000 sales (2.5% market share) and with a very solid margin from second place.
The second best-selling SUV is the Hyundai Tucson, moving up one place in the ranking with 273,000 units (1.8% share), followed by the Kia Sportage with 221,000 units (1.5% share).
In fourth place is the most popular electric car Wuling Hongguang MINI EV with 202 thousand units (although it is difficult to call it a crossover), followed by Volkswagen Tiguan (down 3 places) with 202 thousand units. Another ‘Chinese’ BYD SONG (pictured below) entered the leaderboard, increasing sales since the beginning of the year to 163,000 units and climbing 32 positions.
