The national electric crossover TOGG was officially presented in Turkey

So far, one model will be produced – the C-class crossover. However, other models will appear later.

The Turkish state-owned company TOGG (Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girishim Grub) presented the first electric car manufactured at its own factory in Turkey. At the ceremony, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, presented the first C-segment crossover that the brand will produce.

So far, the first TOGG model does not have a name, as well as exact specifications. There are only hints. It is known that the electric car will be delivered with one or two engines, two battery capacity options and a range of 300 kilometers or 500 km, respectively.

Prices for the TOGG model are also unknown, but the start of sales is known – the first mass-produced cars will roll off the assembly line in February 2023, and official sales will begin in March.

The TOGG plant plans to produce 17,000-18,000 cars in the first year. The company also assumes that the plant will produce more than 1 million cars by 2030.

It was also announced at the opening ceremony that TOGG will not be using a dealer system. Instead, users will be able to place orders through the TOGG Care mobile application. Models will be tested in areas called ‘experience points’.

In addition to the C-SUV crossover, there will be several more models in the model range of the Turkish manufacturer. They promise that the sedan will go on sale in 2025.

C-X Coupe will appear on the market in 2026, and the most affordable model of the B-SUV segment, buyers will have to wait until 2027.
