The new technology will charge smartphones in less than ten minutes
In the smartphone market, you can observe not only a race of megapixels, but also an effort to be the fastest in the charging process. Each time, the company’s flagships increase the power of chargers, and a new stage will come next year.
The next batch of information came from an authoritative insider of Digital Chat Station. He stated that the current 210 watts would not be the pinnacle of technology.
Despite the fact that smartphones have been around for more than one year, the problem of operating time still hangs over them due to their limited size. Therefore, the engineers came to the point that the main focus is now not on the size of the batteries, but on the possibilities of fast charging.
Launched in July this year, the iQOO 10 Pro features a 200W superfast charger that can fully charge its 4,700 mAh battery in just 10 minutes. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+, which will be released in October, will most likely support 210-watt charging. However, this is apparently not enough for the developers.
- Fast charging technology has already been developed, which allows you to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in just 6 minutes.
- Next year, a solution with an even higher capacity will be released, but there are no concrete figures for it yet.
- The goal is to reduce charging times to single digits (less than 10 minutes).
