OpenAI has announced the completion of ChatGPT for Android. The application is already available on Google Play, but it is not yet possible to install it.

So far, the ChatGPT page on Google Play only offers registration. The program will be downloaded to your smartphone automatically as soon as it is available, which should happen next week.
The interface of the program is basically the same as the previously presented version for iOS. Apple iPhone owners have been able to use the official ChatGPT since May. The Play Store page contains the following description:
“The latest OpenAI achievements are at your fingertips.
This official, free app synchronizes your usage history with other devices and includes the latest model improvements from OpenAI.
With ChatGPT in your pocket, you’ll get:
- Instant answers
- Individualized advice
- Inspiration for creativity
- Professional introduction
- Training opportunities
Join millions of users and try the app that conquered the world. Download ChatGPT today”.
The announcement for iOS contains information about the “Plus” version: “ChatGPT Plus subscribers get exclusive access to GPT-4 capabilities, early access to features, and faster response times.” Given the possibility of in-app payments listed on the app’s Google Play page, we can assume that Android users will also get a paid version.
