The Pentagon believes that HIMARS influenced the course of the war in Ukraine
American M142 HIMARS missile systems began to significantly influence the course of Russia’s war against Ukraine, the US Ministry of Defense said at a briefing.
‘Everyone can see that the advance and offensive of the Russians has slowed down. It is hard to believe that this is not related to the loss of ammunition or the loss of someone who would command them,’ said the spokesman of the department./blockquote>
The Pentagon noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are striking warehouses with ammunition, command posts and control centers of the Russian occupiers.
‘All this directly affects the ability to conduct front-line operations. Therefore, although they do not fire HIMARS at the front line, they have a great impact,’ – the US Department of Defense said.
