The Pentagon refutes the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia about the destruction of six HIMARS missile systems
The US Ministry of Defense, following the operational command ‘South’, also denied Russia’s statement about the destruction of six HIMARS units in Ukraine.
On August 2, Russia’s defense minister announced that their military was able to destroy half a dozen HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. The operational command ‘South’ reported that the information does not correspond to reality.
The Pentagon also commented on Russia’s statement. The representative of the Ministry of Defense of the United States Todd Breasseale (Todd Breasseale) claims that the words of the head of the Russian department ‘are clearly false again.’ The Pentagon spokesman also emphasized that the Ukrainians use HIMARS missile systems with impressive accuracy and efficiency.
