The enemy’s military transport aviation conducted tactical flight exercises. Seven AN-124s were involved in the operation. The command decided to test how well the young pilots were trained with the help of an “elephant walk.”

The flights were carried out by cargo aircraft in difficult weather conditions. In total, the AN-124s flew about 1,000 km at a speed of 500 km/h.

The Russian Aerospace Forces have 11 Ruslan aircraft at their disposal. In addition to the VTA aircraft, An-124s belonging to the 224th Flight Detachment took part in the exercise. The latter has 5-9 boards at its disposal. According to the GUR, the group used seven planes to transfer equipment to Belarus.

If we take five Ruslan aircraft as a basis, it turns out that less than half of the available An-124s can be launched simultaneously. This may be a sign that Russia is having difficulties with aircraft maintenance.
