The Russians have started training on the use of Iranian combat drones

The United States believes that Russian officials have begun training to work with Iranian drones. This is reported by CNN.

A Russian delegation has visited an airfield in central Iran at least twice since June to inspect armed drones, according to national security adviser Jake Sullivan and satellite images exclusively obtained by CNN.

The training is still taking place in Iran, although there was information that Tehran had already sent unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia along with instructors.

An unnamed US official told CNN that over the past few weeks, Russian officials have been training in Iran as part of a deal to transfer combat drones to Russia. Intelligence about the training was recently declassified.

There is still no information about which drones the Russian army wants to receive and in what quantity. Rumor has it that the Shahed-129 and Shahed-191 drones are each capable of carrying precision-guided missiles. However, both UAVs were still used under real war conditions.
