The search engine Apple Search will appear no earlier than in 4 years – The Information
According to The Information, Apple is working on creating its own search service Apple Search. However, it should not be expected to appear soon. According to the source, the service can be launched at least in 4 years or in a more distant future.
To continue effective work on the Apple Search project, the company needs to significantly increase the budget of the corresponding team. Apple may also enter into an agreement with Microsoft Bing, similar to the one Apple entered into with Google.

Additionally, there were earlier rumors that Apple might launch its own search engine this year. The Cupertino-based company has shown signs of interest in such a service for years. Back in 2014, the Applebot search robot was discovered, and a year later the company mentioned its own search ranking factors. Later, Apple lured employees away from Google.
Note that in 2021, Google paid Apple $15 billion to use its default search engine in Apple Safari. Now, according to various estimates, this amount may amount to $18-20 billion. Thus, the search service on Apple devices is important for both companies.
