“The secret facility was not sufficiently covered by air defense”: UAVs attack Russian marine base in Krasnodar
The Russian marines were being prepared for deployment to Ukraine and were being trained in the strictest secrecy at the base to perform “complex, very specific and responsible tasks”.
A flock of drones attacked a marine base near Krasnodar in Russia. This was reported by the Russian telegram channel Kremlin Snuffbox.
For example, on Saturday, December 2, the outskirts of Krasnodar were attacked by 7 attack drones. 4 of them were shot down, and 3 reached their targets. Also, two S-200 missiles were flying to the Krasnodar Territory, they were allegedly shot down over the Azov Sea.
“The enemy attacked one of the military units that has been a base for Russian marines for the past few weeks. They were being trained here in the strictest secrecy to perform “complex, very specific and responsible tasks in the area of the ‘Joint Forces Operation’. The soldiers were to be sent to the front next week,” Tabakerka reports.
The hit killed 6 marines and wounded 19 others. Valuable equipment was also “lost,” including simulators for military training.
It is noted that the military unit is located at a certain distance from residential buildings, so local residents were not affected.
