The Security Service of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion to Yevhen Cherniak, the creator of the Big Money project, for his companies cooperation with Russia
The Security Service of Ukraine reports that it has collected evidence against Yevhen Cherniak, the owner of one of Ukraine’s largest alcohol holdings, who is suspected of financing Russia’s armed aggression.
This is said in a statement by the special service on the evening of Friday, December 29.
According to the investigation, despite the full-scale invasion, the suspect’s companies continued to do business with the aggressor country.
“It has been established that in 2022, his subordinate enterprises transferred about 6 billion in the hryvnia equivalent to the Russian budget in the form of taxes and fees alone. It is documented that the defendant’s enterprises located in four countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus purchased industrial volumes of alcohol and other related products from Russia“, the WB said in a statement.
It is known that during the searches of the holding’s office premises in Ukraine, documents and other material evidence of illegal activities in favor of the aggressor country were found.
Based on the collected evidence, the SBU investigators served Cherniak and 6 other top managers of his companies suspicion notices under Part 1 of the Criminal Code 2 Art. 28, art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding and abetting the aggressor state committed by prior conspiracy).
The issue of seizing their private and corporate property for transfer to the management of the ARMA is being decided.

What is known about Yevhen Cherniak
Yevhen Cherniak is a Ukrainian businessman and public figure known for his work in the alcohol industry, in particular as the founder and chairman of Global Spirits Corporation, one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in Eastern Europe. His company produces well-known brands such as Pervak, Morosha, and Khortytsia. Cherniak is also known for his active participation in social media and as the author and host of the popular Big Money project, where he shares his thoughts and advice on business, investment, and self-development.
Yevhen Cherniak is also the author of the book “Big Money: Principles of the First”, which was published only in Russian before the full-scale invasion of Russia, because Cherniak believed that business was not conducted in Ukrainian.
