The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed more than 150 Russian missiles and over 400 drones with a potential value of $1.7 billion in a month

The Ukrainian Armed Forces demonstrated last month that even the most effective weapons of the Russian army can be destroyed. American anti-aircraft missile systems played a role in this. In particular, Patriot.
Judging by the wreckage of the missile, which was photographed last month, Ukraine has received MIM-104F Patriot systems with PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) interceptors. They allowed us to shoot down 7 of the 7 X-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
In May, Russia launched 114 X-101, X-55, and X-555 cruise missiles, of which 106 (93%) were shot down. The air defense system also repelled strikes by sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles with an efficiency of about 90% – 26 out of 29.
Most problems arose with the X-22. Each of the five missiles hit the target. As for the S-300, S-400, Iskander-M, and Iskander-K, the Air Force shot down 16 of the 28 missiles (57%). The problem here is that all missiles, except for the Iskander-K, fly on a ballistic trajectory.
In addition, in May, at least 375 Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and about 10 Lancets were destroyed. In total, more than 400 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, including reconnaissance drones, were shot down. The potential cost of all missiles and drones is approximately $1.7 billion.
