The Ukrainian military found a strange surprise in a downed Russian helicopter

Ka-52 helicopters in Russia are called a miracle of the local military industry and a ‘flying tank’, says a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine Khariton Starsky in his blog on YouTube.

However, while inspecting the wreckage of the helicopter, which according to the advertisement “cannot be destroyed”, he found a strange surprise. The Ka-52 electronics unit turned out to be a real mouse, but already dead.

You can see this on the video from 2:30.

Theoretically, the animal could have come here after the fire, but there is reason to believe that the helicopter was home to the animal. This is indicated by the condition of the animal – like the electronics unit, the mouse caught fire during the fire, and therefore was there during the destruction of the helicopter.

This particular Ka-52 was shot down at the Gostomel airport near Kyiv by conscripts of the Ukrainian army, says Starsky. This happened in February or March 2022, when the airfield was occupied by Russia.

However, the presence of a mouse in the electronics unit indicates the actual state of affairs in the Russian army, which before the large-scale invasion of Ukraine was called “the second strongest in the world.”
