The United States will transfer 190 MRAP armored vehicles to Ukraine
On September 7, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. As it turned out, in addition to it, our American partners are also preparing armored vehicles for delivery.
This was reported by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink on Twitter. We are talking about 190 MRAP vehicles with mine protection. It is not known what kind of cars they will be. But we can assume that it is the Canadian Roshel Senator armored vehicles. They are the ones shown in the photo behind the ambassador. There is no information yet on when the deliveries will begin.
Proud to stand with Acting Deputy Secretary Nuland @UnderSecStateP and my @StateDept colleagues to mark the delivery of the first U.S.-provided Mine Resistant Ambush Protection (MRAP) vehicles to Ukraine’s border guards and police. The Roshel Senator is a new armored vehicle made by the Canadian company Roshel Defense Solutions. Vehicle production began in 2019. The truck is based on the Ford F-series commercial truck. By the way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already using such vehicles at the front.
