The US announces a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine

Today, May 10, the United States government will announce a new military aid package worth $400 million to Ukraine. This became known from a report by RBC-Ukraine, cited by the American publication Politico.

According to two U.S. officials, the new aid package will include a wide range of military equipment stored in U.S. warehouses. The list of weapons to be delivered to Ukraine includes the following:

  • new missiles for the Patriot air defense system;
  • Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
  • Bradley combat vehicles;
  • armored MRAP vehicles;
  • Javelin anti-tank systems and other military equipment.

This aid package is another step by the United States to support Ukraine in its efforts to counter Russian aggression and strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
