The US Army will provide Israel with all its “Iron Dome” air defense systems

Israel will receive Iron Dome air defense systems from the United States. The transfer of anti-aircraft missile systems will be part of the aid to fight Hamas.

The United States will send all air defense systems belonging to the army to Israel. The military service currently has two Iron Dome batteries stored at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Sending Iron Dome solves two problems at once. First, the United States will provide assistance to Israel. Secondly, the US Army will finally be able to get rid of anti-aircraft missile systems in which it is not very interested.

About two weeks ago, Israel requested the transfer of additional Tamir missiles to the Iron Dome air defense system. This was a precautionary measure in case of massive rocket attacks by Hamas. According to new reports, the United States will give Israel 300 interceptors.
