The Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense has completed consideration of all amendments to the draft law on mobilization. There were 4269 of them.
The committee’s chairman, Oleksandr Zavitnevych, posted this on Facebook on March 29.
“The Committee has completed consideration of all 4269 amendments to the draft law on mobilization. The committee meetings were attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as MPs who authored the relevant amendments,” he wrote, noting that the review process was lengthy and debatable.
“Now, together with our colleagues, we will further work on the committee amendments, and the final comparative table will be formed,” Zavitnevych added.
After that, the table will be submitted to the Council’s main legal department, which will have to issue a conclusion. Only then can the draft law be considered in the parliamentary hall.
