They hide and work only at night: T-90M “Proryv” tank was detected and burned by a Ukrainian FPV drone (video)

Ukrainian soldiers used a kamikaze drone to destroy the latest Russian T-90M Proryv tank near the village of Chelburda in the occupied Kherson region.

A video of a successful attack by a Ukrainian drone operator was posted on his Telegram channel by journalist Yuriy Butusov.

He also recalled the words of a Russian tank company commander who recognized the high combat effectiveness of Ukrainian drones. Their operation prevents Russian tanks from approaching the front line and firing directly.

“T-90 M “Proryv” tanks do not fire during the day, as they are destroyed by FPV drones, and fire only at night, not with direct fire, but from a distance of 8-9 km, i.e. as self-propelled artillery,” the Russian commander emphasized.

“On the left bank of the Kherson region, in the village of Chelburda, a Russian T-90 M “Proryv” analog network was detected by the aerial reconnaissance of the 406th Artillery Brigade during the day while moving to the position. Then the crew of the “Samosud” unit of the “Lastochka” UAV of the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine used an FPV drone to hit the enemy tank, which subsequently burned to the ground,” commented Butusov.
