Near Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian Armed Forces tried to shoot down a Ukrainian drone with an anti-drone gun. Instead, the drone tracked them down and guided a National Guard tank to the enemy position.
A video of the work of the NGU tankers was shown by the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko.
“Near the village of Verbove, aerial reconnaissance men of the Chervona Kalyna brigade detected activity in one of the landings. The enemy group positioned themselves under a sprawling tree and used an anti-drone rifle to try to shoot down our scouts’ drone. At this time, an experienced pilot quickly adjusted the tank’s fire,” the statement said.
The National Guard fired one single shot. As a result of the hit, the occupiers’ position was destroyed. The personnel, RBU and BC were also liquidated along with them.
