This week, Musk is launching a “humorous chatbot” called Grok, which will be available to X Premium+ users
Elon Musk confirmed that Grok will be available to all Premium+ subscribers “next week”. And, despite the fact that the entrepreneur’s statements about the time frame were not always confirmed, the code in Appendix X confirmed the integration with the chatbot.
This week, software researcher Nima Ovji shared screenshots showing Grok added to the X web app – with the URL twitter.com/i/grok. One image shows a user without a subscription being offered a subscription to access the chatbot, while the other shows a text box with the message “Ask Grok.”

First released in early November to select testers, Grok is Musk’s answer to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, Anthropic’s Claude, and others, and has the potential to gain a significant following within the X social network.
In addition, xAI, the Musk-owned AI company behind Grok, promises that its chatbot will be more personalized than its competitors: it will be able to answer questions with wit and have a “rebellious streak.” It has been announced that Grok will be able to respond to “acute” requests that are usually rejected by other artificial intelligence systems.
Grok will access training data via X in real time.
At the same time, such an addition may help to increase the popularity of premium subscriptions on the social network, which has not yet demonstrated the results Musk was hoping for. The owner of X changed Twitter Blue to X Premium, promising a “blue tick” among many other features, such as an increase in the number of replies, an edit button, the ability to publish longer posts and videos, and fewer ads.
