TUI, one of the largest tour operators in Europe, citing sanctions against Russia, asked the hotels with which it cooperates to cancel the booking of Russian tour operators.
This was reported by turizmgazetesi with reference to the letter of the financial manager of Tantur Travel AŞ Chesmi Ozkan to hotels in the Baltic States, TI Travel LLC, TI Baltics SIA and Borublita.
Until May 31, and then the 20th of each month will receive information about the cancellation.
“The purpose of this letter is to inform you that all Tantur operations in Turkey for TI Travel LLC, TI Baltics SIA and Borublita Holdings Limited have been suspended.
Suspension of new booking requests for any transaction related to TI Travel LLC, TI Baltics SIA and Borublita. We hereby inform you that the contract has been suspended in accordance with Article 9 of the contract signed between your hotel and Tantur,” – writes Cesmi Ozkan.
Meanwhile, the Russian branch of TUI Tantur in Turkey was closed, employees were fired and computers were locked.
