Trump says Milley ‘deserves to be executed’: general reacts to scandalous statement

Former US President Donald Trump accused Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley of “treason” and said that Milley “deserves to be executed.” In turn, General Milley noted that he would take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of his family.

Last week, Trump accused Milley of allegedly communicating with China behind his back.

On his social network Truth Social 45, the head of the White House also criticized the general’s role in the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.

“In fact, he was dealing with China to warn them about the US president’s thinking. This act is so egregious that in the past, the penalty would have been death. This treasonous act could have resulted in a war between China and the United States,” Trump said.

According to Milley, he is a soldier and is ready to die for the US Constitution.

He also stated that he would “take appropriate measures to ensure his safety and the safety of his family.”

“So I will not comment on these things directly. But I can tell you that I am a military man, a soldier, I will never turn my back on this Constitution,” the military commander said.

The head of the JCSN also emphasized that there was nothing inappropriate or treacherous in his calls to China.
