Ukraine and Poland will set up a joint venture to produce weapons and military equipment
Ukraine and Poland will set up a joint commission to prepare recommendations for the establishment of a Ukrainian-Polish joint venture for the production of weapons and military equipment. The joint venture will take defense and military cooperation to a new level and allow the creation of modern types of defense weapons, said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal following intergovernmental consultations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
The commission will establish cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian companies, including defense companies.
As a result of intergovernmental consultations, a memorandum was signed on the need to increase cross-border electricity trade and restore the Khmelnytsky NPP-Rzeszow transmission line.
Poland will also assist in the development of Ukrainian communities as an integral part of the recovery plan.
