Ukraine has developed a new missile, with the help of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian S-400 “Triumph” system in Crimea
On August 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on a Russian military base in Crimea, destroying a launcher of the S-400 Triumph air defense system. Now the details of this attack have emerged.
The information was shared by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, on Ukrainian Radio. According to Danilov, Ukraine destroyed the complex with a new missile.
“Yes, this is our new product, which has proven to be absolutely flawless,” Danilov said.
Danilov did not disclose detailed information about the missile. He only added that this is a development of the Ukrainian defense industry under the program launched in 2020.
Earlier, Ukrainian journalist and politician Yuriy Butusov, citing his sources, said that the strike was carried out with an anti-ship missile that is part of the Neptune complex. Perhaps the new missile is a modified version.
