Ukraine has developed a state-of-the-art combat module “TGP” that detects targets using AI

DevDroid.tech, a company operating in the Ukrainian market, has introduced a smart turret. The NGU soldiers took over its testing in the field.

Based on AI algorithms, the TGP turret is remotely controlled. It is capable of independently detecting enemy manpower, aiming at it and opening fire.

The developers propose to use the TGP to protect the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from enemy reconnaissance UAVs and FPV drones. In addition, the turret can be used to divert enemy fire and provide cover for infantry.

Targets are recognized and identified by the turret automatically. Algorithms determine the distance to them. If the targets are moving, the system follows them, simultaneously calculating ballistics. To open fire, the operator only needs to give the appropriate command.

In addition to the 7.62 mm tank machine gun, the turret can be fitted with Grot, AK-74, AK-47, etc. assault rifles. The cost of one complex is 300 thousand. UAH.
