Ukraine is developing the “Iron Caterpillar” ground drone (video)
TIMERLAND specialists are developing a low-cost unmanned mine trawl. According to the Industrial Portal, the project was named Iron Caterpillar.

The new robotic platform will be used as a consumable during demining. Currently, the Iron Caterpillar is being tested for controllability via remote control.
This promising development can be used not only in the military but also in the civilian sector. The robotic mine trawlers will clear areas on the battlefield and in the rear.
In the future, the Ukrainian company’s engineers plan to create a kamikaze ground drone based on the unmanned platform. In addition, they intend to design a larger platform that can be used at the front as a vehicle. The Ukrainian military will use it to transport provisions, equipment and ammunition.
