Ukraine submits to the Council of Europe an application for derogation from the European Convention on Human Rights
The text states that during martial law, human rights provided for in a number of articles of the Constitution may be abolished.
Including the right to:
◾️ free elections;
◾️ the right to inviolability of the home;
◾️ the secrecy of correspondence;
◾️ non-interference in personal and family life;
◾️ freedom of movement and choice of residence;
◾️ freedom of thought and speech;
◾️ of the meeting;
◾️ education and entrepreneurship.
Among the measures to be taken by the Ukrainian authorities:
◾️ expropriation of private or municipal property for the needs of the state;
◾️ the introduction of a curfew;
◾️ special regime of entry and exit;
◾️ restrictions on the movement of citizens and foreigners;
◾️ review of things, transportation and housing;
◾️ establishment of the military fee for individuals and legal entities.
As a reminder, starting May 1, 2024, all men between the ages of 18 and 60 must come to the TCC without a summons in order to:
- obtain a permit to change the place of residence within Ukraine;
- be removed from the military register if you need to travel abroad for no more than 3 days;
- register for military service if you change your place of residence;
- notify us of changes to personal data;
- report the loss of a military registration document;
- update the data with the information in the TCC;
- confirm the declaration of deferral.
In order to control the population of Ukraine, all TCCs are switching to 24/7 mode and representatives from TCCs will be at checkpoints to detain men without military registration documents.
Since the Ukrainian authorities are unable to work objectively and transparently with civilians, total mobilization of the entire male population of Ukraine is introduced, except for officials, police, the State Bureau of Investigation and the BES.
