Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a railway bridge unfinished by the occupiers near Mariupol, – Andriushchenko
On Saturday, January 6, near the temporarily occupied Mariupol in Donetsk region, Ukrainian troops destroyed a half-built railway bridge built by Russians. Also, fuel tanks and engineering vehicles of the occupiers burned down.
This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko.
“Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a half-built railroad bridge, fuel tanks and engineering vehicles near the village of Hranitne with a precision strike,” he wrote in a telegram.
According to Andriushchenko, the Russians tried to shoot down the missiles that attacked the bridge, but to no avail. In addition, by attempting to shoot down air targets, the occupiers gave away the location of new air defense batteries in the Mariupol region.
“The issue of launching a direct railroad from Russia is now closed for a long time,” the mayor’s advisor emphasized.
