Ukrainian defenders cut Oleshky-Nova Kakhovka road – ISW
As of November 9, Ukrainian troops established continuous control over positions from the Antonivsky railway bridge north of Poima to the Antonivsky bridge north of Oleshky (7 km south of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnipro River).
In addition, on November 9, Russian military bloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops had taken control of new positions in Krynky (30 km northeast of Kherson and 2 km from the Dnipro River) and were storming Russian positions south and southwest of the settlement.
A Russian military blogger claimed that there was information that Ukrainian forces had advanced to the forest areas south of Krynky.
Other military bloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops also attacked near Poima (12 km east of Kherson and 4 km from Dnipro), Pishchanivka (13 km east of Kherson and 3 km from Dnipro), and Pidstepne (17 km east of Kherson and 4 km from Dnipro) and are trying to consolidate positions between Pidstepne and Kozachy Lahery (23 km northeast of Kherson and 2 km from Dnipro).
ISW analysts believe that the Russian military command will likely have difficulty redeploying combat-ready reinforcements to respond to Ukrainian operations in Kherson region while conducting defensive operations in Zaporizhzhia region and supporting other offensives in eastern Ukraine.
